Pressure for perfection?
The other day I read a post written by a man, who shared that he believes women in business face more pressure than men and honestly, it struck a chord.
There’s this unspoken expectation for us to look a certain way, polished, flawless, effortlessly “Instagram-perfect.” And when it comes to being photographed, that pressure can feel a lot. I know some women who’ve put off getting brand photos for years because of it.. including myself..
But here’s what I really want you to know: personal brand photography isn’t about looking perfect. It’s about capturing who you are, your energy, your personality, your story.
And yes, that includes the little quirks and so-called imperfections, because they’re what make you memorable. Relatable. Real.
It’s easy to fall into the comparison trap, scrolling through feeds full of curated, filtered, flawless images but the truth is, you don’t need to look like anyone else. Your brand photos are about you, your values, your vision, your vibe.
How much better would you feel and how much less would you compare...if you had beautiful images too?
It’s not about vanity. It’s about visibility. Confidence. And being proud of the brand you’ve built.
If confidence is the only thing holding you back, let’s talk. I’d love to guide you through a shoot that feels empowering from start to finish, just drop me a message by clicking the button below, or send me an email here
I offer one hour, half day and full day options and happy to talk through what you might need and how to plan for your brand shoot.
